Introduction: I welcome all readers and this is my section of the India hero, which you really liked. In this section, I talk about indie heroes, or rather the games that they made. And in this issue, I will tell you about our Russian developers of Indie-IGR, who became famous for their very unusual and unique games. Meet Ice-Pick Lodge.

Story: The studio was founded in 2002 by Nikolai Dybovsky. Initially, Dybovsky turned to the publisher of Buk with a design document, but he was refused. Then a loan of several thousand dollars was taken and the search for programmers and artists continued for three months. Several hundred letters were sent, negotiations with several dozen people were conducted, but after meeting with Ayrat Zakirov, Dybovsky stopped the search. Airat gathered almost all members of the team. A 3D engine, technical demo and the correct design document were made to the loan. After that, the publisher accepted the command proposal and in 2005 the first game called Mor (Utopia) was released.

Mor (utopia) (2005)

Mor (utopia) – tells about the fate of three people who find themselves in a distant town in the steppe during a terrible epidemic of a deadly disease. The whole game resembles a complex stage production, where the player offers the role of not an actor, but a director of events.
The main characters – Bachelor of Medical Sciences Daniil Dankovsky, Guruspik Artemy Burah and a girl named Clara (available after passing the game for bachelor or guruspik) – appear in the city at the same time, each for their personal reasons. All three heroes are distinguished by different views on one tragedy, completely different approaches to survival and motives. Each of the protagonists has its own characteristics, capabilities, has different resources and meets its attitude from other characters and for each has its own principle of effective survival.

The protagonist has a lot of parameters: "reputation",
“Health”, “fatigue”, “hunger”, “immunity”, “infection” that must be maintained in optimal condition. Food, medicines, clothes and weapons cost money, despite the fact that the character is deprived of money and does not have intelligible sources of income. The reputation depends on the actions that can increase it or lower. In order to be able to buy food, the prices of which are incredibly flying up, the player has to go to the player, collecting bottles and other objects on garbage tanks, and exchange with other characters. It is also impossible to do without sleep: if the character does not sleep, it will faint and will die later. Health care is also necessary, especially in the case of infection, as well as conflict with bandits and looters. The patient has attacks, and the disease is deadly. Immunocorrectors increase immunity and reduce the likelihood of infection. Antibiotics reduce the bacterial population in the body. Analgesics restore strength during sleep. Dressings help to improve well -being, etc. But the game had many shortcomings and bugs, but in the HD of the publication, which went out in 2015 on Steam, everything established and I advise you to get acquainted with the game.

Turgora is a game in which we fall in a https://paradise8casino.co.uk/ gap where all living things eats in color. The gap resembles gray and gloomy sleep. This world dies before our eyes, but life still warms in it and creatures live. The only thing that supports life in this place is the lymph as called as color. The player will have to learn how to interact with the lymph: in order to perform actions, the player’s character must use it, missed him through his own body. Of course, for this lymph must first be extracted somewhere in the interval. The nerve player can draw signs by which most actions are performed in the game. In total, the hero’s body can have up to 21 cavity for germination of color. In the beginning there are only two of them. Each new open cavity makes it possible to use a certain sign. There are 7 colors in total. A certain color, being in the hero’s body, increases the parameter corresponding to this color.

Silver – the color of a miracle, magic, "strange states". This color favors the sisters of the echo, comfort and Eli. His gift is luck. The more silver is in the hero, the more often the events will take place with it.
Purpur – the color of rage, awareness of one’s own rightness, the desire for justice. This color favors the sisters of Eli, Yuna and Aye. His gift is rage. The more purple is in the hero, the more damage his attacks will be caused.
Amber – the color of riot, madness, brightness of emotions. This color favors Ave, Ira and Aye sisters. His gift is metabolism. The more amber will be in the hero, the faster the lymph will germinate into the nerve.
Azure – the color of suffering, inner pain with a strong shade of hope. This color favors the sisters of it, Yani and Yuna. His gift is speed. The more azure is in the hero, the faster he will move.
Emerald – the color of calm, patience and self -control. This color favors the nameless sister,. His gift is protection. The more the emerald is in the hero, the less damage they will inflict the enemy attacks on him.
Lilac – the color of creativity, inspiration, secrets and intrigues. This color favors Echo, Ave, Yani and Ole. His gift is inspiration. The more lilacs are in the hero, the less color will be spent on drawing.
Gold – the color of love, care and self -sacrifice. This color favors the nameless sister, Ole and Ira. His gift is trust. The more gold is in the hero, the more the heart of the hero will reveal the heart of the sister.

And after all this information you had two questions. Who are these sisters and how can you get color? Color can be obtained simply by collecting it around the world, you can hunt for mobs, you can open the veins in mines (if you have the right sign.) and grow it in gardens.
Well, now about the sisters. Sister are beautiful, charming captives of the gap that the brothers captured. To go further, you will need to feed them with color, but you can completely quench the hunger only from one that you yourself choose for release, each sister has two colors that they eat. Each sister has its own character, which is built on these two colors. All sisters are eleven and every sister has his own brother. Brothers are bosses that will prevent you from feeding the sisters and escaping from the interval so as if the sister runs away, then the gap will be destroyed. Here I think you can stop and go to the color of the color.

Turbor: color Voice (2008)
The voice of color is a modified version of the game published in Europe called The Void. We call it the voice of color. And the biggest difference is the voice of the color. Many disadvantages were also corrected (for example: animation of sisters), but many fans of the original did not appreciate the game as many mechanics were simplified.

Eureka! – This is something between the arcade air system and the designer. The events of the game unfold in a world in which gravity has disappeared and many objects flew into the sky. The player’s task is to return the flew out and fragments of the world to the Earth, using your personally assembled aircraft that you can collect yourself. Will help return its weight to the subject, mysterious substance called ivy. Strange dwarfs develop this substance.

The plot of the game is divided into four chapters corresponding to the seasons. And if in the first chapter in the main place an arcade element, then starting with the second the true quest background of the game is manifested. Any of our actions are tied primarily on the amount of ivy. For ivy, components are bought for boats, cars and other vehicles.
The most interesting begins from the middle. When we are finally thrown by serious puzzles, which, as a rule, are decided with the help of our small friends.
And now it’s time to talk about the minuses. And I have two minus. I already wrote that you can make yourself a very bizarre transport, but because of the drawings, it is pointless to do it as you can make ordinary and effective transport in a couple of clicks. And the second, concerns transport management. Movement on anything other than his two turns into torture. The transport is incredibly slow. The force of inertia is huge and does not correspond to the size and alleged mass of the device at all. In a word, the physics of transport is very bad, but in justification I can say that the developer was conceived. All the same in the world with the gravity of the problem. Of all the games of the ice axes, Eureka turned out to be very bright and drug addict. Compared to Mor and Turgor.

Tuk-tuk-tuk (2013)

Tuk-tuk-tuk is the story of a lonely tenant by profession of a worldwide.
His work is to explore the world and record his observations. And at night, strange guests began to appear to him. It had to think about the causes of madness and gradually understand that they play with you not at all according to the rules that were declared at the beginning.

Development, according to the creators, began with the fact that at the end of 2011 they received a strange letter from a stranger on the mailbox. It was proposed to create a game on the materials of this letter, but, as the developers of Ice-Pick Lodge say, they receive many such letters to them, but very rarely something worthwhile is offered. Nevertheless, this letter, according to the reasons unknown to the developers themselves, interested them. The LESTPLAY archive was attached to the letter.RAR with nineteen files. Its contents (passages of texts, short audio and videos), as well as the style and vocabulary of the letter itself were quite alarming. The man asked them to finish the game that started using those materials from the archive, otherwise they would share the fate of the sender. The author left a large scope for development, but the developers had to use files from the archive, otherwise everything would be “in vain”. After this letter, the mysterious customer no longer made itself felt. It is possible that this story is a PR action of the developers, since no evidence, whether it was the archive itself or the sent letter, has not been published. The purpose of the game is that you need to help the protagonist hold out in the house until dawn. This can be achieved by going around all the rooms of the house and including the light in them, twisting the bulbs on the ceiling. Only by turning on the light in the room, you can see and, therefore, interact with objects in it. It can be a clock allowing to “accelerate” the time in which you can hide in case of danger, or just interior elements.
Many critics called the game boring because of a monotonous gameplay, but this game takes others. She takes the atmosphere, small details and this is the game for glory. And this first game from ice axes, which became known for ordinary players.

Conclusion: In conclusion, I will say that Ice-Pick Lodge is one of my favorite studios. Their games are art and I am waiting for a new mor of utopia, which should come out this fall (but this is not for sure).
